For the past four years I’ve been working on a series of labels for the Northern Michigan-based family company American Spoon. 61 different preserves, marmalades, relishes, condiments, and grilling sauces bearing labels with my illustrations now line American Spoon’s stores and cafes in Michigan as well as retail outlets around the United States, including some varieties in our local Wholefoods. More flavors are in the pipeline.
Pictured below are some recently launched or relabeled products.
Click on the link below to see some photos of my 3 day workshop at the Denver Botanical Gardens. I very much enjoyed myself and the students did marvelous work. I’m looking forward to seeing the final pieces.
One of my New York cityscapes watercolors 42nd Street Pizza has been chosen for 30 Artists / 30 Years – The Art Students League National Juried Exhibition of League Alumni. More than 300 artists who have studied at the League between 1980 and 2010 applied to participate in this competition.
And I’m very honored – my painting is on the invitation!
