East London Printmakers Festival of Print 2001
My mezzotint Fields Estate, London Fields has been awarded The Hawthorn Printmaker Prize at the East London Printmakers Festival of Print 2001. Many thanks to the Hawthorn Printmaker Supplies. The Festival of Print is at @thepavilionsmileend and will run between 26 November – 5 December.
Royal Society of Painters in Watercolour
Barn, New Jersey, USA is showing at the Royal Society of Watercolour’s 208th Exhibition until Saturday 12th September. I haven’t been to see it yet but I am very pleased to see in the Making a Mark blog that it is hanging in distinguished company. The Exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London was postponed from April.
Natural Beauty Exhibition
UPDATE – after hanging replacements and additional works NATURAL BEAUTY, PART II is opens and runs through September.
I am delighted to be included in this wonderful exhibition in Manningtree, Essex, UK. I have some tempera painting as well as large watercolours of sea pinks and rock samphire on show. It is on until the 22nd August on Saturdays as well as by appointment.

Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2019
I am delighted and honoured to hear that my painting Canvey Island has been selected for the 2019 Royal Academy of Arts 251st Summer Exhibition in London from 10 June – 12 August.
Saturday 8th June. And very excited to see that the painting had already been sold AND is in the exhibition’s illustrated catalogue of selected works.
Eating Well Magazine Seafood Spreads
The June edition of Eating well is now out in the USA with three spreads of my seafood illustrations. The article is about how the world’s warming oceans are shifting undersea ecosystems. Instead of the common types of seafood such as salmon and shrimp, we should start eating more unusual species such as jellyfish.
