]]> I am very excited that for the third year running I have had a painting accepted for the prestigious Sunday Times Watercolour Exhibition which will take place at The Mall Galleries between 14th – 19th September 2015. It will then tour to Castle Fine Art in Birmingham from 10th – 18th October 2015 and the Guildford House Gallery in Guildford from 21st November – 2nd January 2016.

In March I will have two paintings on show at the RWS Contemporary Watercolour Competition 2015 and three at the 203rd Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours Open Exhibition.

Sea Pinks and Lichen, Ireland (Khadi paper 22″ x 30″) has been selected for the Sunday Times Watercolour Competition 2014 at the Mall Galleries, London, 15th – 20th September. 
I am currently in South West Cork working on a series of daily quick sketches of more sea plantains, pinks, trees and other things. I have been working mainly out of doors in a 14 cm square notebook using water soluble Derwent Graphitone Water Soluble Pencils and a Masquepen and masking fluid.
